Who am I and why am I telling you this?
Hi! My name's Irina Brun. I’m a certified freelance coach and former IT professional.
I've spent 20 years in the IT world of Norway. From coding and software , to leading teams, managing people, innovating and playing with emerging tech. I worked in buzzing startups and seen nice polished corridors of big companies. My journey has taken me to different places.
The pay was great, and opportunities were plenty.
However, over time, something shifted. My excitement started to drop, and I felt like I was outgrowing my IT roles. The excitement I once felt has begun to fade, replaced by a growing sense of restlessness.
I was torn apart by conflicting desires and emotions, and I puzzled over what to do next for almost 7 years.

It started years ago with a tearing idea "Should I try a manager role? Or maybe product owner?". But I was terrified by the thought of losing my coding skills.
I tried small adjustments. Then big. More new tech, new roles, switching companies. More responsibility and cooler projects.. But I still felt incomplete.
I searched everywhere for a way to reignite my passion, but most solutions turned out to be short-term.
I decided to shake things up and did some bold moves. I left a perfect position at a top company for an exciting startup with a huge salary drop and much more work. Just to regret it and reverse the jump several month later. 🤦🏻♀️

There was a lot of trial and searching. Reading books, watching expert advice, and reflecting on my experiences. At one point, I was so exhausted and so lost, it felt like burnout was just around the corner.
But then, something clicked!
I found the missing pieces to my puzzle. 🧩
Suddenly, I had a clear vision of what I genuinely wanted, and a path to get there. At the same time, the strategies that I learned and tried over time merged into a single meaningful method.
I often think, "If only I had known this sooner!" Decisions would've been more comfortable. Less moments of feeling lost. Less doubts and self-questioning.
With this method, I could have shaped my career with more purpose and clarity.

This realization opened up a new direction for me. I wanted to guide other IT professionals, helping them discover their path. Just as I had found mine. Working with people, understanding their challenges, and supporting their journey became my new joy.
My personal journey shows one solution. My unique answer.
But each person has their own story, influenced by different experiences and aspirations.
